5/15/2022 MID-MAY OTTER NEWS UPDATE

Hello Otters!

Here's some mid-month news you Otter know!

OTTER WALK - We officially kicked off our Otter Walk fundraiser last week and are getting ready for the big event on Friday, May 27th. At this time students and families should be collecting donations. We are working on getting our volunteers signed up and getting organized so almost 500 of us can walk together to raise funds for our school. Each student brought home a pledge sheet last week and we encouraged students to check in with family members and close friends to gather donations. Our donations have ranged from $5 to $500 and every dollar counts. Donations are due by the day of the Otter Walk - May 27th. Our goal is hefty, but we've done it before --- $10,000!!! We also have an online donation option - you can share the TouchBase link with family and friends.

  • Parents - use your student’s TouchBase account - Items at Student's School, student activities, Otter Walk.
  • Other family and friends - set up a GUEST USER TouchBase account - Items at All Schools, K-8, Three Rivers, student activities, Otter Walk. Enter donation amount and type in the student’s name at check out.

Help is needed to be ready for this big day - please consider lending a hand. You can walk with your student's class, monitor a station or be on the finish line cheering squad. There are all kinds of jobs - something for everyone. Thank you in advance for whatever help you are able to give to this year's Otter Walk. Please use this link to sign up: I want to help!

Please consider donating to and sharing this link. 8th grade parents, please remember to email a picture of your student to [email protected] by May 20th so that she can send them off to 1 Day Signs. We love celebrating our 8th grade class!

SPARROW UPDATE - We just wrapped up Week One of our Sparrow Club Coin Drive for Ryder! There has been a lot of ambushing and sabotaging going on around here at Three Rivers! Here are our current standings:

  • 1st Place in Elementary: Ms. Farfaglia's class with $30.54
  • 1st Place in Middle School: Ms. McCullough's Hodge Podge class with $36.00
  • Our grand total to date for Ryder and his family is $1,477.05!
