Storm Starter Days are this Tuesday and Wednesday!

Session 1: 8:00am -11:00am
Session 2: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Weds., Aug 21
Session 1: 11:00am - 2:00pm
Session 2: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
What can students do on Storm Starter Day?
~ This is an opportunity for students to briefly meet with their counselor to talk about changing a class (or classes). Look for your counselor in the commons and grab a seat in line in front of their table. Schedules will be available to see on StudentVUE after 3pm on August 19th. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE STORM TIME HOURS. Counselors will NOT be available between 11:00am and 1:00pm on Tuesday and 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Wednesday.
~ Upperclassmen (10-12) may see the attendance office to sign up for a locker. Freshmen will already have been assigned a locker and can see this info on StudentVUE on the 19th.
~ Tour the school and locate classes.
~ Get information about parking - there's a new system this year.
What can parents do on Storm Starter Day? NEW THIS YEAR:
The Summit Administrators will hold short informational sessions for parents covering the following topics:
Parents will also be able to meet representatives from the Summit Boosters and Summit Together parent groups. Parents are invited to attend all sessions, ask questions and help us become a better learning organization!
The following things may be purchased online at any time:
~ You may order your 2019-20 yearbook online. The cost is $65.
~ You may purchase ASB (Associated Student Body) for $25. This is mandatory for athletes, cheer, dance & music students and optional for everyone else. Purchasing ASB gets students into home, non-playoff football and volleyball games for FREE and provides a discount for dance tickets. Students that have purchased ASB will have this printed on their student ID card on picture day.
~ iPad Insurance may be purchased online (until approx. mid-September at which time purchases would be made at the school).
~ iPads for Freshman will be distributed on September 4th (freshmen day) and to upperclassmen after school has started (exact date to be determined). To check out an iPad BOTH the student and the parent must sign an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) form. These will be available in the main office and the library or you can download it here.
