Announcements for Tuesday, May 29

Congratulations to our Equestrian team for another successful year of competition. We had a strong showing at State Competitions and Juliana Yenne was 4th at state in dressage! Congrats to the whole team!

The library is open at lunch for SILENT, INDEPENDENT study.
A maximum of 24 students may study in the library during lunch. The strict limit insures that students who want to study have a quiet place to do so. Tables are on a first-come-first-served basis, so arrive early if you'd like a spot. Passes will be handed out when lunch begins, not earlier.

Tickets to the Class of 2018’s Grad Party are now on sale!
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by cash or check or through the following PayPal link:

Students! You are welcome to return your iPads whenever you are certain that you no longer need them. PLEASE REMEMBER to charge it when you decide to return it, AND BRING YOUR SCHOOL-ISSUED BRICK & CORD!!!! You will be charged $20 each for the brick and cord if they are not returned. That's $40 if you don't have either.

Interact Club is putting on Bend’s first 5k Color Run!!
It will be on Saturday June 2nd, at Pacific Crest and start at 10:00 am! All proceeds will be going to benefit Ten Friends, an organization that supports young women’s education in Nepal. Please sign up for this special event! Enjoy post-race festivities with food trucks, music, and a raffle. Sign up with the registration website

Have you ever thought about hosting an exchange student?
If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Every year, Rotary Club of Greater Bend sponsors an inbound exchange student and for the 2018-19 school year we will be welcoming Juan Sanabria, a 15 yr old boy from Paraguay. We are seeking three host families for the year; each host family will host Juan for about 3 months. If you are interested in learning more about this great opportunity, please contact Bruce Abernethy at [email protected] or 541-771-0463.
