PSAT is Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at Summit High School. This is the only PSAT test date Summit is offering.
Please arrive at 7:40am, be in the gym by 7:45am, and testing starts promptly at 8am.
PSAT SIGN-UP INFORMATION:
Summit students, sign-up for the 2018 PSAT is now open online at https://touchbase.bend.k12.or.us
Sign-ups end at 2:00PM on Friday, Oct. 11th. This is an OBSERVED DEADLINE. There are a limited number of spots available (225 tests) so sign-up early.
To sign-up for the PSAT:
Step 1 - Pay $25 online at https://touchbase.bend.k12.or.us There are no refunds.
For Parents: User Name is Student ID Number
Password is Student’s Last Name – Password is case sensitive
For NON-Parents (Guest Users) – Please create an account (on the website)
Step 2 - After payment is made, take your receipt to Amy Micheletti, Counseling Secretary, and receive the PSAT Student Guide that includes a practice test.
Who takes the PSAT? The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) is recommended for all college bound juniors who have a 3.0 GPA and who have completed or are currently enrolled in geometry. That being said, any student can certainly take the PSAT.This is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for juniors. Sophomores can also take the PSAT to prepare for standardized tests. Sophomores: please be advised that it's best to have completed Geometry BEFORE taking the PSAT.
