Academic Excellence

Hello Falcons! Thank you for visiting the Sky View Middle School website. Here at Sky View we offer students an excellent education, terrific social opportunities and outstanding extra-curricular activities. Academic excellence is Sky View’s number one goal.

Fun, Challenging Opportunities

Providing an Academic Culture where all students experience Safety, Belonging, and Opportunity is essential to our students’ growth. To this end, we operate under the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support system, which emphasizes school-wide behavior norms for all, supported by orientation and recognition programs throughout the school year. Another foundation of our culture is the “You Matter” concept, where we celebrate each individual for who they are as we strive to help them develop and grow. We have a great variety of elective courses, clubs, and activities built into the school day to provide a meaningful, holistic education that meets the needs of each student. Our staff works hard to provide students with these opportunities and we work to see our students make the most of them.

Great Team

Sky View opened in the fall of 2000, making this our 20th year! Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is approximately 730 students, primarily from the beautiful northeast area of Bend. We serve this area as a diverse group of professionals with a range of backgrounds and experiences, united in the philosophy that kids are the future of our community and it is our mission to have a dramatic and positive impact on that future.
