Academic Excellence

Hello Falcons! Thank you for visiting the Sky View Middle School website. Here at Sky View we offer students an excellent education, terrific social opportunities and outstanding extra-curricular activities. Academic excellence is Sky View’s number one goal.

Fun, Challenging Opportunities

We operate under the Positive Behavior Support System, which emphasizes school wide behavior norms for students, staff and parents supported by programs in orientation and recognition. In addition to emphasizing a positive character trait each month, our school motto is “Be Aware, Work Together and Do Your Best.” The staff works hard to provide students with many fun and challenging opportunities and we hope to see our students make the most of them.

Great Team

Sky View opened in the fall of 2000. Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is approximately 700 students, with about 233 sixth-graders, 254 seventh-graders, and 213 eighth-graders. Our entire boundary area feeds into fantastic Mountain View High School, where I was previously Vice Principal. Together with Mr. Uballez, our Vice Principal with 10 years of experience at Sky View, and a great team of teaching staff, we work to provide our students and families with a world-class experience. Sky View is proud to have received a 4 out 5 rating overall rating on our latest Oregon Schools Report Card.
