Good Morning Falcons! Here are your Friday announcements:

  • Attention Track Team! First day of practice will be Monday, April 3rd right after school. Schedule and practice information can be found on the Sky View website. Copies of the schedule are also available in the main office.
  • Wrestling Team, please pick up your pictures in the main office anytime between 7:30-11:30AM.
  • Bend High’s Track Team is offering a Youth Track & Field Camp March 29th- 31st from 12-3pm. Cost is $75. If interested, sign-up sheets are available in the main office.
  • Remember next week is spring break so there will be no school. We’ll see you all back here on Monday, April 3rd!

  • Beginning tomorrow, the ASB bus route to the Christian Life Center on Wednesday’s will be #4, not 31.
  • Boys basketball pictures have arrived. They are now available in the main office.
  • The Sky View Giving Tree has been extended for the rest of the week. There is still time to make donations. Please bring all donations to the library. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
  • Today is the first day of practice for Sky View wresting. Athletes, please go to the locker room to dress down immediately after school and meet your team in the cafeteria. If your name is not on the team roster, please see Mrs. Sutton in the front office.
  • Random Acts of Kindness and Be the Change clubs will meet each Friday during lunch. 1 st lunch meets in Mrs. Henry’s room and 2 nd lunch meets in Mrs. Robert’s room.
  • Our lunch special today is Grilled Stuffed Burrito and Green Dragon Salsa. Tomorrow is Homemade Cinnamon Roll, Sausage Link and Tater Tots. Thursday is Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice and Tuscan Bean Salad. Friday is Chicken Bowtie Pasta, Italian Breadstick and Caesar Salad.

  • The Random Acts of Kindness and Be the Change clubs will meet today during lunch. 1 st lunch meets in Mrs. Henry’s room and 2 nd lunch meets in Mrs. Robert’s room.
  • Bend Senior High School is putting on a two-day baseball hitting camp for boys and girls grades 2-8 on Sunday, December 18th and Monday, December 19th. Registration forms are available in our main school office.
  • Registration deadline for 6th, 7th and 8th grade girl’s basketball is today. Contact Bend Parks & Rec to sign up if you want to play.
  • The first day of practice for Sky View wresting will be January 3rd. If you want to participate, remember to register on FamilyID, pay the fee and turn in your sports physical to the main office. See the Sky View website for more details.

  • The Random Acts of Kindness and Be the Change clubs are hosting a Sky View Giving Tree located in our school library. Donations will be accepted until this Thursday, Dec. 15 th. They are collecting donations for The Bend Humane Society, Grandma’s House, Bethlehem Inn and new unwrapped toys for the Bend Fire Department. Teachers have a list of needs and there are also lists attached to posters in the school and on the Sky View website.
  • Santiago will be here today during first lunch to meet with students who want to “be the change”. If you need a pass, see Mrs. Henry.
  • Tomorrow night, December 13th, is the Winter Orchestra Concert at 7pm in the Mountain View High School Auditorium.
  • Get your ugly Christmas sweaters out to celebrate the holidays! This Thursday, all students and staff are encouraged to show off their ugly Christmas sweaters at school.
  • This Thursday the 15th is our Holiday Dinner for lunch. A prize will be given out to the best ugly-sweater-school-lunch-eater during each lunch period!

  • Box Tops- Box Tops- Clip Your Box Tops! The lucky winners for October’s PTSA Box Top drawing are Addison Priest and Raelle Abbott. You can pick up your prize in the main office. So far this year Box Tops have earned $160 dollars for our school. Keep up the good work!
  • Today is Sky View's First Social. We are on an assembly schedule. The social will be held the last hour of the day. There will be games, music and movies to enjoy! Food and drinks will be on sale so bring your money if you plan on enjoying the food!
  • If you are participating in the Annual Inventerprise Science Contest sponsored by Bend Research, today is the deadline…all entries are due by 5pm.
  • Middle School Nights at Juniper Swim and Fitness Center is tomorrow, Nov. 5th, from 6:30-9:30pm. The fee is $5 per person or free with a current pass!
  • Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, Nov. 6th so remember to set your clocks back 1 hour. There will be more light Monday morning when you come to school!

Good Morning Sky View! Here are your Wednesday announcements:

  • Green Team members: Today is an important meeting. Report to Room 206 by 10:35. We will walk together to the cafeteria for the "Waste Audit". See you at 10:35 sharp!
  • There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bible devotion at lunch on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning today. First lunch students will meet in Mrs. Butler's room and second lunch students will meet in Mr. Smith's room. Since you don't have to be an athlete to join, everyone is welcome. See Mr. Smith, Mrs. Butler, or Katelyn Zink if you have any questions.
  • Girls, if you want to play basketball, Mountain View Girls Basketball Team Tryouts for grades 5-8 will be today and tomorrow, Nov. 2 nd & 3rd from 6 to 7:45pm.
  • Show your school spirit by dressing up for spirit week. Tomorrow is Twin's Day and Friday is Grease Day. Grease, as in the movie. Thank you!!!

  • Happy Halloween! Today during 1st and 2nd lunch, there will be an exhibit on the stage in the cafeteria. It was created by the Leadership class and it is called, THE HALLWAY OF STRANGE THINGS.
  • Robotics is cancelled for today, October 31 and will resume next Monday. Please check with Mr. W if you have any questions.
