Rosland is working hard to connect with our future Kindergarten students
Article Date: Jan 20, 2016
The High Desert ESD has a grant which is being used to connect with future kindergarten students. This is how we are using these funds to make this connection.
We are also doing Library time on the second Tuesdays at 8:30 am for families with small children.
Our community liaison Terry Denend, is taking coffee to moms and dads that need to connect with the community.
We are planning an Early Childhood Fair for May 18th
Finally, we are registering next year's kindergarten students now. In years past, we have waited until we have a Kindergarten roundup, but this year we are starting now so we can start communicating with families right away. If you know of a child that will be 5 years old by September 1st, send them our way and we can help them get registered! Before school starts, families will need to provide the student's immunization record, birth certificate, two emergency contacts and proof of address. We would like to get them registered right away so even if they don't have all of these right now, please let them know we can start the registration process.
Call the office if you have any questions on these great events!
