REALMS is a magnet school within Bend-La Pine Schools and follows the same process for enrollment as other magnet schools within the District. We will be enrolling approximately 52 new 6th grade students in the Fall of 2016. Typically we receive between 100 and 150 applications per year for these 52 slots. We strongly recommend that parents attend one of our Information Nights (WITH your student!) before applying.

All applications (electronic or paper) must be received in the REALMS office no later than 3:00pm on Friday, March 18th (see how to apply below). Lottery results will be communicated by mail and sent out on Friday, April 1, 2016.

If you are interested in a 7th or 8th grade slot, please submit an application and we will add you to our existing wait lists for those classes.

Lottery Details:

• Applications received after the 4/1/16 deadline will not be placed in the lottery and will be placed on a separate "interest list".
• Applicants who are siblings of current REALMS students DO need to complete an application however they receive automatic enrollment and do not need to go through the lottery.
• There is no "Magnet Zone" neighborhood around REALMS... students from anywhere in Bend-La Pine Schools have an equal opportunity in the lottery.
