Ponderosa Elementary School

School Information

Beautiful Setting

Ponderosa Elementary School opened in 2008 and has an enrollment of more than 600 students. Our beautiful school is situated on approximately 10 acres in northeast Bend. The school is adjacent to the Pine Nursery Park, which our staff utilizes as an outdoor classroom, consisting of more than 200 acres.

Valuing Relationships

Come and experience a school where relationships provide the groundwork for instruction. Our highly qualified staff members are hired for their passion for the profession and the desire to make a difference in the lives of children. Ponderosa staff members recognize that there are several ways to learn and many successful teaching styles. We value academic achievement, but realize there are various other measures of success.

Art, music, physical education, technology and project-based instruction and enrichment activities are considered an integral part of our experiential learning. Extreme care is given to provide the best education for each and every child.

Thank you for sharing your precious children with us! Feel free to drop by if you have any questions or concerns.
