Hello from the PBMS Counseling Department,

We hope this email finds you healthy and happy. Our counseling team is here to help support you and your student(s). Use the steps below to make an appointment.

1) Via the counseling webpage you can request an appointment with your counselor. There is a parent request form and a student request form: https://sites.google.com/gapps.bend.k12.or.us/msba...

2) Email your counselor and they can set up a time to connect.

Ms. Bacon: All students with the last name beginning with L-Z

We will be available to assist with mental health concerns, emotional wellness check-ins, academic questions or concerns, concerns or questions about distance learning and distance learning resources and any other topics you may need assistance with. Counselors will respond to emails and requests as soon as possible during our work hours. However, if you have an urgent mental health concern, please call the Deschutes County Crisis Line at 541-322-7500 ext. 9.

We Welcome You

We welcome all students and parents to seek assistance from our counseling office when they are in need of help. Our staff can offer assistance with social, emotional, behavioral or academic issues. Stop by or make an appointment to talk.

Our Counselors

Ms. Bacon is the counselor for all students with the last name starting with L-Z. She is also the 504 coordinator.

Mr. MacFarland is the counselor for students with the last name starting with A-K.

Making an Appointment

Students should complete the Request My Counselor Form in Canvas to make an appointment.

FAN Advocate

Whitney Davis is the FAN advocate for the school. If your family is in need of assistance with school supplies, school clothes, food or other necessities, please contact her through the Families In Need Webpage.

Self-Assessment Survey

On Friday, January 28th, students will be taking a short self-assessment regarding strengths identification in their Advisory classes. Topics include curiosity, zest, leadership, forgiveness, social intelligence, creativity, etc. When students know and apply their character strengths they can create better relationships, find more engagement and success at work, and overall lead a happier, more balanced life.
