From Ms. Home in the Library:
OBOB Families: Please make sure you are signed up to receive updates regarding all things OBOB. https://app.seesaw.me/s/395-945-415. FYI, there haven't been any recent updates. Next one, coming soon!
SORA: Sora is our online reading catalog and it's an incredible tool for our readers. You can put the Sora app on your home devices; however, you have to set up a time to talk with me on the phone, or come by school. We have to use your phone for verification, etc. Reach out if this would be helpful for you to have Sora at home, on vacations, etc. There are lots of audio books too! And magazines! (sorrapp.com)
PARENT BOOK CLUB: Our next read will be Midnight in Chernobyl: The Story of the World's Greatest Disaster by Adam Higginbotham. Here is a review: "Midnight in Chernobyl is a masterpiece. An urgent tale of a lost empire, the USSR, it takes us into the world that was Chernobyl. The author's prose is perfect as he brings us with him to the Ukraine, back to Moscow, and through time." Please grab a copy and meet on Thursday January 16 for dine/drinks/discussion at Pacific Pizza and Brew at 5:30.
