Lava Ridge Elementary School
At Lava Ridge, we are committed academically to making sure each student learns the Common Core State Standards. While teaching the standards, we want to make sure students are exposed to a variety of learning styles and develop a love of learning. We also want to make sure each student gets the support he/she needs to be successful. We are proud of the academic progress our school has made.
At Lava Ridge, we use the PBIS (Positive Behavior and Support) program to develop and maintain an excellent learning culture. We have consistent and common rules throughout the school and make sure that all students are taught these school-wide expectations for common areas and playgrounds at the beginning of the year. This system is very proactive and helps reinforce students that make good decisions.
The Lava Ridge staff is here to serve you. Students are most successful when school personnel work closely with parents to meet the unique needs of each individual student. You are invited and encouraged to participate in, and get involved with, your child's education in any way possible.
We look forward to working with you to ensure your child's success.
Sincerely,
Mr. DeFrang, Principal
