La Pine Middle School
The goal for Bend-La Pine Schools staff members is to prepare all students to be future-ready. This means when they graduate, our students can:
Students in middle school have unique needs and require special attention during their transitional years. These students vary in physical, intellectual, psychological and emotional development.
To meet these needs, middle schools strive to provide high academic expectations for all students, to develop positive attitudes toward learning and future readiness and to transitional successfully between elementary and high school.
La Pine Middle School offers the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program. AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
MindUP is Social and Emotional Learning program that is implemented school wide.
