Our school is a rural school in beautiful Central Oregon in a small community in the greater La Pine area. The mission of our school is to produce educated and responsible citizens who are ready to meet the challenges of the demanding world that awaits them. We are one of the five high schools in Bend-La Pine Schools, and we pull students from a wide geographic area known as "South County". Visit the La Pine Chamber of Commerce.
We value the experience our students gain in and outside the classroom with involvement in co-curricular activities through athletics, clubs, and other opportunities as well as our AVID and ASPIRE programs and our partnership with Oregon GEAR UP. We feel these experiences only add value in creating a well-rounded student. The staff that support our school are highly qualified, dedicated professionals.
La Pine High School supports students in their quest to be educated and responsible citizens. We devote every day, every interaction, and every teaching opportunity toward making an impression on our students with our stated core values. The staff seeks to make every teaching moment a lasting impression based on setting a good example, and being exceptional role models for the students. Honor, character, and citizenship are infused into our daily activities with the students so that they may emulate these qualities in their lives.
