High Desert Middle School
HDMS Equity Statement
At HDMS we believe that ‘Every Story Matters’. We strive to explore and discuss the things that we have in common, while sharing the things that make us unique. In order for every story to matter we must continue to create a school that offers equitable access to powerful and engaging education for each student regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, language, ability, or socioeconomic status. At HDMS we will engage in meaningful learning and respectful discussion including topics of race, equity, inclusion and systematic oppression.
