Ensworth Elementary School

Academics

Strong History

Ensworth has a strong academic history in its short 12-year history. We use the district adopted reading and writing curriculum, and will soon be implementing a new math curriculum. All lessons are based on approved state standards. Being a Title 1A school allows us to have a full time reading teacher and several educational assistants to fully support all students’ reading needs.

Technology as a Tool

All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have an iPad issued to them for use along with any other relevant school materials. They iPads allow our students to begin using technology as a learning tool.

Other Resources

All 5th grade students attend Camp Tamarack. This outdoor school experience is then shared with all students at the school during our Out Door School Day in June each year. The fifth grade students are able to teach the younger students what they learned during their time away.

All students are also able to visit the Bend Science Station during the year.
