Managing screen time and student iPads

At home the parent/guardian is in charge. You have the right to make the rules as to when your child can use the device at home. Find information on screen time, settings, and app management.


ParentVUE is Bend-La Pine Schools' parent web portal to student information. ParentVUE is a tool to monitor your child's education progress.

  • Parents of our middle and high school students will have access to grades, report cards, attendance, assignments, their student's current IEP, progress reports and school announcements.
  • Parents of elementary students will have access to attendance, report cards, their student's current IEP, progress reports and school announcements.
Parents create a ParentVUE login with an activation key that is generated from one of your student's schools. If

you enrolled your student online, your online enrollment login became your ParentVUE™ account.

Teachers will use the WebEx platform to host live meetings with students. Learn more about WebEx and how to download it onto a student issued iPad. WebEx meetings, small groups and one-on-one sessions are hosted within teacher’s WebEx rooms. To find a teacher’s room, go to: http://bls.webex.com/meet/first.last Those experiencing challenges logging in to a teacher’s room should contact the school.


Canvas is our new learning management system for grades 6-12. All students in sixth through twelfth grade will be logging onto Canvas to access their course materials. Students will be expected to log onto Canvas daily to access assignments, online discussions, and assessments. Learn more about Canvas on our website or watch these short overview videos:

Student Emails

Students can only email Bend-La Pine Schools' staff members. Students cannot send email to other students or addresses outside of Bend-La Pine Schools. Learn more about how to set up a student email account.
