Please join us in congratulating Tiffany as our 2024 Excellence in Education classified staff honoree!
On behalf of Tiffany, representatives of MidOregon Credit Union presented La Pine Middle School with a $500 check. Joining in today’s presentation was Superintendent Steven Cook, Deputy Superintendent Lisa Birk, Executive Director of Student Services Sean Reinhart, Interim Executive Director of Middle Schools Stephen Duval, School Board Director Shirley Olson, other District administrators, La Pine Middle staff, Tiffany’s husband Adam and their children Brady and Sydney.
Dr. Cook shared why Tiffany was selected for this honor: “Tiffany’s energy is both infectious and inspiring,” he said. “Her laughter and smile light up the room, creating a space where students feel valued and supported. Whether guiding a lesson or facilitating an engaging activity, her passion for supporting students shines through in everything she does.”
Her influence extends far beyond the classroom. She is a natural leader who leads by example and cultivates a sense of connection among the team. From sharing resources to organizing weekly team lunches, she builds camaraderie and contributes to a positive school culture.
“Tiffany treats every student and family with respect and dignity, taking the time to understand their individual educational, social, and emotional needs,” La Pine Middle School Principal Brian Barringer said. “Over the years, she has built meaningful, trusting relationships with families through her care and professionalism.”
One remarkable example of this trust occurred during a holiday weekend, when a family of a medically fragile student turned to Tiffany during a crisis. They knew they could rely on her compassion and expertise — a testament to the depth of her dedication.
Tiffany, your contributions have an immeasurable impact on La Pine Middle School and the wider Bend-La Pine Schools community. Your leadership, creativity, and care inspire everyone around you, and the work you do each day truly makes a difference. On behalf of our entire community, we thank you for your unwavering commitment to our students and staff. You make us better!
