Bend Senior High School

A new master plan for Bend Senior High School has been developed - the first phase of which will be built with funds from the 2017 construction bond. Schematic designs for phase 1 are done with construction slated to begin in summer of 2020.

The new two-story stand-alone structure will include four academic classrooms with a large flexible multipurpose space designed to be able to host meetings and International Baccalaureate testing.

Master planning for Bend Senior High, which was built in 1955, started in April 2018 and includes teachers, office staff, additional staff members, the principal, a board member and other district-level administrators as well as BBT Architects. The team’s vision statement for the new master plan is “creating a welcoming, accessible, and safe learning environment while maintaining strong traditions of relationships, collaboration, innovation, and excellence."
