Article Date: Jan 09, 2019

PRESS RELEASE:

Families and students are invited to learn more about Bend-La Pine Schools’ high school options during information nights taking place throughout January. During these orientation nights, families will learn more about the programs and opportunities available for students at each school.

Information nights are set for the following times:

“All of our high schools are dedicated to helping students graduate ready for college and career, but each has its own unique programs, specialty areas and school culture. These information nights are a great way for parents and students to find the fit that is right for them,” said Katie Legace, Executive Director of High Schools.

Students wishing to attend one of the district’s three choice option schools — Bend Technical Academy at Marshall High School, Realms High School or Skyline High School — can apply online now. Deadline to apply is Feb. 8.

Students are also able to attend a neighborhood high school outside of their attendance area where space is available with an approved Attendance Area Change Request (ACR). Families must submit an ACR form to their home area high school for approval by March 1. Learn more at http://bit.ly/BLSacr
