Art Mural Celebration at Silver Rail Elementary School
Silver Rail Elementary School is celebrating the creation and completion of a large mural that will be hung above the school’s cafeteria. Every student in the school participated in the creation of the “mosaic train” mural. The project was led by Sue Wilhelm, a local artist and was paid for thanks to the school’s PTA and a grant from the Education Foundation.

After graduation practice at 8 a.m., the La Pine High School graduates will celebrate with a parade through area schools as younger students cheer. This is the second year for this festive event.
