BLS Jobs Website Announcement

Bend - La Pine Schools (BLS) has discontinued using Frontline’s Recruit/Hire platform for accepting online applications and has transitioned to Ultimate Kronos Group’s (UKG) Recruitment Platform as of February 13, 2022.

If you previously submitted or began an application in BLS’ Frontline system, you will need to create a new account in UKG and enter the required applicant information to have your application considered. You may access your old Frontline account information here. If you wish to download copies of your documents from Frontline, please follow these instructions.

Teaching positions for the 2023/24 school year will be posted later this spring on the BLS UKG Jobs Site. The Central Oregon Education Job Fair will be held Thursday, March 23 at Eagle Crest Resort and will allow candidates to attend in person or virtually.

Educational Assistant Position Requirements

Applicants to educational assistant positions must meet and provide proof of one of the following requirements:

  • Two years of college (to include 90 quarter hours with passing grades)
  • Associates degree
  • Successful completion of the Paraprofessional Assessment exam with a score of 455. (More information about the Paraprofessional Assessment exam can be found here.) Note: At this time Bend-La Pine Schools does not offer the Paraprofessional Assessment exam. The Paraprofessional exam is offered by Sylvan Learning Center of Bend, Willamette ESD and Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA. Please contact these locations directly for further information on testing.
