Bond Updates
June 2019:
- A new gym, locker rooms, fitness room, restrooms and two Career and Technical Education classrooms are now open and in use at Marshall High School.
March 2018:
- Two new Career and Technical Education classrooms are complete at
Marshall High School. The new gym area is expected to be completed later
this spring.
October 2018:
- Anticipated completion Spring 2019
- Framing classrooms
- Gym construction underway
May 2018: Construction on the site is underway and 2KG Contractor started work. The project is slated to be complete in January of 2019.
January 2018: The project is slated to go to bid in February, with construction on the addition to begin in April.
At Our School
Total Estimated Project Cost: $7.3 million
Add instructional space
The
bond will fund the addition of a new multi-use building with classrooms and a dedicated gym.
Safety improvements
A new secure lobby will be constructed and the perimeter will be secured.
Energy conservation
Outdated doors and windows will be replaced to be more energy efficient. HVAC controls will be modernized.
Technology
New
technology includes a new intercom system, installing ceiling
projector mounts, installing key card access for exterior doors and modernizing wireless wiring.
