Add instructional space and classroom modernization

The bond will fund the addition of instructional multi-use space at Bear Creek, which was built in 1963. The new connected addition will include 3,300 square feet for cafeteria and 825 square feet for a kitchen. Other changes for instructional spaces includes adding ceiling fans to classrooms.

Safety improvements

A new secure lobby will be constructed.

Maintenance and preservation

New roofs will be installed on several buildings at the school including B Building and C Building. Drainage issues at grass area on south end of main building. The concrete foundation will also be resealed to prevent water penetration. Playground B will be regraded and two new catch basins and a slot drain will be added to collect excess water.

Energy conservation

All single pane windows will be replaced with new double pane windows and new modern HVAC controls will be installed.

Technology

New technology including a new intercom system, installing ceiling projector mounts, installing key card access for all exterior access doors, and modernizing wireless wiring.
