Bend-La Pine Schools' Language Arts program supports and develops a student's academic identity by expanding skills in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language use. As part of their coursework, students will routinely identify their own topics for writing and reading exploration, in addition to experiencing diverse texts in a variety of mediums and genres.
In alignment with the Common Core State Standards, all secondary grades pursue the College and Career Readiness Standards.
