What is AP?
The Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams in high school and earn college credit, advanced placement, or both at many colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. By earning college credit in high school and skipping introductory courses in college, you can save time and money as they work toward a college degree.

2024-2025 AP Testing
The 2024-25 AP Exams will be administered over two weeks in May (See calendars below):
• Week #1 - May 5-9
• Week #2 - May 12-16
2025 AP Exam Information
Cost is $79 per exam. AP Research and Seminar are $127. Fee reduction and waivers can be arranged through district process:
Deadline to order exams for May 2025 testing is November 1, 2024. If you decide to order after this date, College Board charges a $40 late fee. There are no refunds for AP exams.
All students planning to take the AP exams must:
- Register for exam in AP Classroom on College Board. Work with your teacher to do this.
- Pay for exam online through Touch Base. Purchasing will be set up in Touch Base early-mid October.

Art and Design: Friday, May 9, 2025 (8:00 p.m. ET), is the deadline for AP Art and Design students to submit their three portfolio components as final in the AP Digital Portfolio.
