Are you interested in athletics?

BTA students who play sports are able to compete with their attendance area schools. In order to register, parents of high school students wishing to participate in athletics should register at their attendance area school using FamilyID, in the Parents dashboard. FamilyID is a secure, user-friendly online registration platform that streamlines the application process and allows parents to enter information once for multiple family members and athletic teams.

Athletic Eligibility

Student athletes must be enrolled in, and passing, four full classes to be eligible for sports. This includes the trimester that you are participating in a sport, and also the trimester prior to your sports season. Students must also have a 2.0 GPA and be on track to graduate.

Code of Conduct

Any student who participates in school-sponsored athletics or activities must agree to abide by the School District Board Policies, Administrative Rules, Code of Conduct, building rules, and team participation/training contracts. All students who participate in athletics and extracurricular activities are expected to be positive role models for other students and members of the community. Students should demonstrate good conduct at school and in the community at all times.

Bend-La Pine Schools is a member of the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), which regulates activities in grades 9-12.
