Bend Tech Academy

School Information

Welcome to Bend Tech Academy!

Bend Tech Academy (BTA) is one of two Choice Options High Schools in Bend-La Pine Schools. We are a small comprehensive high school with a focus on high-quality instruction, strong relationships, and Career & Technical Education programming. Our 4 CTE Academies focus on building the knowledge and skills students will need to pursue these high-demand, high-wage industries. Here at BTA, we focus on the the following:

  • College preparatory courses like AP Literature, AP Language & Composition, and Project Lead the Way Science courses
  • Opportunities for students to earn industry-recognized credentials in their classes
  • Dual-credit classes where students can earn college credit while still in high school
  • Collaboration with local industry members through on-site presentations, job shadows, and internships

BTA students repeatedly talk about the positive connection they have with their peers and with their teachers. Our students graduate prepared for college or university, trade school, the military or the workforce.

If your student is interested in attending BTA, we look forward to meeting you!

"I chose BTA because it is so engaging and it gets me ahead in the career field that I want to be in. Every week we do something different that helps me explore more into the career path I’ve chosen."

- Ella, Class of 2024
