What technology/device will I need in order to access my online summer school class?
You will need your district issued iPad
If you want to use a personal device, you will need to bring it to your assigned school before the end of this school year, to have someone help you set up authentication. This will give you access to log in with your district credentials. If you do not do this, you will not have access to your online courses on your personal device.
What courses are available to take during Summer School?
PE 1 and 2 (not available for rising 9th graders)
Health 1 and 2 (not available for rising 9th graders)
High School Math
High School English
High School History
High School Science
High School Spanish
High School Credit Recovery Courses
Middle school math semester 2 only
How many courses can a student take during Summer School?
Students may enroll in one course semester during summer school.
Where do students work on their Summer School courses?
Students can work from anywhere at any time. This is an online option for students, not in person.
How and when do I enroll for a Summer School course?
Students can go to the Blue Summer Registration link on the right side of this webpage or get registration information from the counseling office at their school.
Registration will open on 5/1/25 and close on 6/12/25.
What if I don’t finish my course at the end of the summer session? Can I get an extension and work on it during the fall semester?
No. There are no extensions for summer school courses. All courses will close out on 8/22, and the students’ final grades will be recorded on their transcripts. All uncompleted items will earn a grade of 0%.
What is the last day to drop a course and not get an F on a transcript?
The final day to drop a course without an F grade is Friday, July 18, 2025.
