Three Rivers School
Three Rivers K-8 School is located in Sunriver, Oregon. Every member of our staff believes in the potential of every child we serve. We strive to provide a world class education that meets each student’s individual needs.
At Three Rivers School, we create opportunities for growing resilient hearts and minds in a community where all students are empowered to achieve academic, social and emotional success.
We envision ourselves as the hub of our small community and we welcome involvement from all community groups, families of students, and individuals looking to make a difference in their community.
While we focus on academics, we are also proud of the many opportunities we provide our students to help them enjoy a wide range of learning experiences. Our music program is truly amazing. We hold monthly assemblies about character. We invite authors and other special guests to share with us. We go on field trips to the Bend Science Station, the High Desert Museum, Outdoor School, Fall River and many other great places. We put on a spring musical and often have more than 50 students participate. After school, we cheer on our sports teams in volleyball, cross-country, track and field, wrestling, basketball and football. We make sure art is part of student life and we celebrate student artwork with art displays and art fairs. It’s a lively, fun, exciting place to learn!
We encourage you to come by and say hi, get a tour of our beautiful facility, and find out how to enroll your student.
Welcome to Three Rivers!

TRS Breakfast/Lunches - as of 9/08/21
While the Covid lunch protocols are mandated district-wide, there are some differences from school to school when it comes to the logistics of meals. This is due to the variety of spaces that exist at each of our sites.
For breakfast, students will be eating in their classrooms or in the cafeteria spaced six feet apart. This mealtime will be no more than 15 minutes.
For lunch, we will be eating outside every day, spaced six feet apart, unless outdoor conditions do not allow it. If it is too cold outside, precipitation is heavy, or the air quality rises to unhealthy levels, we will be forced to move lunch inside. For these days we will utilize the classrooms, commons areas, cafeteria, and hallways to ensure students can eat spaced six feet apart. Additionally, students will be required to put their masks back on as soon as they are done eating. Knowing that we will default to eating outside whenever possible, please ensure your child has proper clothing to spend 30 minutes outside every day.
