Dear Highland Families;
It’s shaping up to be a wonderful weekend with our Spring Carnival kicking off the fun. I look forward to seeing all of you this evening and I hope the rest of your weekend is equally enjoyable. Kudos to our dedicated PTO parent volunteers for all their hard work in preparation and setting up. A special shout out to Taelor Little for being the tip of the spear for this amazing event. This event started with her idea, so I think we can all agree she deserves a special thank you.
If you are not planning on returning to Highland next year, we would appreciate you using the following link to let us know. As you know we have waiting lists at each grade level, so the sooner we know a spot is available the sooner we can fill that spot. 2023-2023 Planning
Have a great weekend,
Please join us tonight for fun, friends, games and prizes at the highland spring carnival! We will be selling raffle tickets at the door. There are 40 baskets filled with over $10,000 of fabulous donations. Will you win one? Only if you enter! Want to see who donated some awesome prizes? Mileage Club is heating up and needs volunteers to close out the year! Many students have completed a half marathon at this point and are determined to finish the full 26.2! Let's go! Mileage Club Sign Up
Final Fridays continue this week through the end of the year. Join PTO right after school at Harmon Park for an easy playdate. Can't wait to see you there!
We are seeing lots of bugs going around school and wanted to remind our community of the general guidelines for keeping your kids at home when they are sick:
Vomit/ diarrhea- Need to stay home for 48 hours after the last event.
Fever- Needs to be fever free without fever reducing medications for a full 24 hours before returning to school
Cough/ runny nose/ cold symptoms- We recommend staying at home until your student is feeling better and symptoms are greatly improved.
Eye redness/drainage- Say home until symptoms resolve or are seen by medical professional and started treatment
Thank you for your help! Let's try to keep our campus healthy this cold and flu season!
