A Message from Sparrow Club:

Hello Highland Families,

Want to know how you can support our sparrow, Rose? The Sparrow Club is hosting our annual Highland Movie Night. Come to the gym on March 24 to take part in this awesome tradition. We suggest you pay $2 for admission. Doors open at 5:30, and the movie will start at 6:00. We are playing Bolt, an awesome animated movie that is appropriate for all ages. There will be a concession stand with yummy snacks such as popcorn, pizza, juice, soda, and so much more. And last but not least, we will have a raffle table where you can buy tickets to win amazing prizes. So, save the date!

Bucks for Bikes Fundraiser!

Mrs. Eriksson’s first grade class is doing a fundraiser, with Roots and Shoots, associated with their storyline. They are raising money that will go toward purchasing bicycles that will be given to people in need in Africa. The organization we are working with is called World Bicycle Relief. Each bicycle costs $147. We are trying to raise enough money to purchase 5 bicycles. Students are asked to participate by bringing in coins and/or bills. At the end of the fundraiser, the class that donated the most will receive a small prize! If you go to the World Bicycle Relief website you will find some videos of how bicycles help change people’s lives! We also have an account called The Red Bike (Click to Donate to the “The Red Bike” fundraiser/team).
