Bend-La Pine Online

The short Summer Session has started and classes should be open and ready for students to begin working. Some important things to note:

  • Christie McCormick is the summer mentor. All questions, problems, etc. go to her (not the mentor students have during the regular school year). Reach her by email ([email protected]) or in person during lab hours.
  • Classes are accessed through PEAK. A link to this system can be found in the “students” tab at
  • If students have never taken an online class before we highly recommend that they attend at least one face to face lab for a quick introduction and to learn the system.
  • Our computer lab is open at the Education Center, 520 NW Wall Street in Bend, and Christie is there to help Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 11:30 until August 1 (closed July 3 & 4).
  • The online teacher (listed in “Course Materials” on the student’s class home page) is ready to help with any content questions you have.
  • All correspondence about your online class goes to your student email. Just log into Gmail with your district email credential ([email protected]) and password used during the regular school year to find your account at home.
  • You are expected to make regular progress on your class. Any class not at least 20% completed by July 19 will be dropped.

  • Full-time online enrollment for K-12
  • Part-time online enrollment combined with part-time homeschool for K-12
  • Part-time online enrollment combined with part-time on-site schooling for K-12
  • Complementary and supplementary online enrollment in addition to full-time on-site schooling for K-12

With Bend-La Pine Online, students and families will get:

  • Dynamic Instructional Materials
  • Extensive personalized academic and counseling support
  • Award-winning, engaging curriculum
  • Support from our dedicated team
  • The flexibility to access courses 24/7

Our team works hard to help each student be successful with the courses they choose. In addition to staffing labs at each of our comprehensive brick and mortar high schools, we offer centralized face to face labs, work times and activities for students who are pursuing their education fully online. Students are frequently enrolled at their home school, and with Bend-La Pine Online. When this is the case, we work with both schools and families to make sure that online offerings compliment what students are taking at their brick-and-mortar site.

It is our belief that online courses can be an integral part of the fabric of K-12 education for many students and help all students become successful, thriving citizens when they graduate from the Bend-La Pine Schools. Please let us know how we can be of assistance in crafting an educational path for your student or family!
