Hello Families,

We're getting close to that long awaited summer break, but still have some valuable learning time left and we're taking advantage of every minute of it.  Thank you for making sure your children are in school.

It's always exciting to hear about past LPE students graduating from college.  If you know of any, please let us know as we would like to honor them in our newsletter.  Currently, we want to congratulate Rachel Schneider, who is graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Christian University and Jacob Toscano, who is graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems.  Congratulations!!!  Elementary school is not too early to start thinking of your future and making plans for life beyond high school.  Talk to your child about his/her dreams---they are within reach!
