As students move forward in their academic careers they will encounter a wide-array of digital and on-line learning options. This year Summit HS is helping students prepare for a digital instruction future by offering several hybrid classes.Hybrid classes provide a mix of on-line and in-class instruction and a supportive bridge to on-line coursework and learning. Students physically attend class 2 days a week, plus a Wednesday check-in, while also participating in tailored on-line instruction.Since each class is split in half, on days that students are physically in class there are fewer students thus providing more individualized support.

• This last year we were honored to be named winners of the Oregonian Cup for our outstanding accomplishments in sports, activities, academics and sportsmanship. 
   
  
• US News announced Summit placed in the top 5% nationally of  schools demonstrating excellence in education.
   
  
• Our athletics was ranked #2 in the nation by the MaxPreps Cup
   
  
• We provide rich opportunities for challenge and impact through our extensive program of advanced classes, including 16 Advanced Placement courses, and extra-curricular opportunities for school and community engagement.

• Our graduated seniors will be attending over 62 colleges in 19 states and beyond next fall.
   
  

Summit is privileged to enjoy the strong support from our parents and community through our Booster Parent and Friends of Music organizations.  All this accomplishment comes through a dedicated and hard-working staff committed to excellence in education. From facilities to the classroom our faculty and staff provides that personal touch to see each student grow and succeed.

This year, 2012-2013, we will continue to strengthen our areas of accomplishment while focusing on developing leadership and community. We believe every student has an individual purpose, talents and dreams. Our goal is to equip students with the experiences and character to step into their world and change it for the better.  We invite community members, families and students to get involved and join us in our journey!
