To register for all High Desert Sports:

• Pick up Registration Packet of forms from the Main Office or download forms and return them to the Main Office with Pay to Participate fee.

• Pay the Pay to Participate fee. Each sport has a pay to participate fee. Pay to Participate fees for 2009-10 school year are $40.00 per sport which are run through High Desert. (EXCEPTION:If you are signing up for a sport through the parks and recreation district, you would pay their fee to them, which varies by sport.)  Checks can be paid at the main office and made out to "High Desert Middle School". Please note the name and grade of your athlete and which sport they will be participating in. 

• Athletic Scholarship forms are available in the Main Office.

• Attend parent team meeting.

Registration for sports at HDMS:

1. Athletic Eligibility/Medical Release - Must complete a new form for each sport.
2. Participation and Training Contract - Complete one form per school year.
3. HDMS Accountability - Complete one form per school year.
4. OSAA Athletic Physical English / Spanish 6th & 7th graders are required to have a doctor's exam each year they participate in a sport. 8th graders who have a physical on file with HDMS as a 7th grader are NOT required to get a new exam. 

• Refunds are available to students only during the first week of practice, or if the student becomes injured during the season and is unable to participate. 

• Our coaches make every effort to stay in contact with their players and families. If you don't get the information you think you need, please feel free to contact the Main Office at High Desert where every attempt will be made to get the information you seek.

• We attempt to post the most current game/meet schedules on our website. Due to unforeseen circumstances, sometimes there are last minute changes that do not make it. Please contact your athletes coach first if you are unsure of a possible game change. If you are unable to reach your coach, you can contact Cheryl Allen, our athletic director or the main office.
