Summer Meals Program Starts June 17
 The Bend-La Pine Schools' Summer Meals Program kicks off at eight locations throughout Bend on Monday, June 17 and one location in La Pine on Monday, June 24. Thanks to federal funding, free lunch is available for youth 18 and younger, Monday through Friday. Bend sites run through August 23 and the La Pine site runs through August 16. No meals are available on July 4.
The Lunch & Learn Reading Program will be offered at selected sites again this year.
