Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training

Bend La Pine Schools and Pilot Butte Rehabilitation Center are excited to offer this program forhigh school students interested in obtaining a CNA license.  Traditionally, program costs are near $800 with an additional $100 for certification. Pilot Butte Rehabilitation Center has generously offered free training, so that high school students only have to worry about purchasing scrubs and covering the licensing examination fee. 

This five-month course is a mix of lecture and practical training. Students must commit to the program in whole. Time commitments can be significant. Completion of the course with a passing mark on the licensing exam allows students to be much more competitive in the marketplace. Many nursing programs require minimum health care related experience hours. Experience as a CNA should provide an advantage when applying to nursing schools.
