1. What is my school's role in maintaining the school's website?
Currently most schools have an onsite web manager selected by the school principal. The web manager handles the content management and design of the school's web pages. There are 5 basic pages that your school must maintain and keep current (School Home Page, Staff Directory, Demographics, News, Calendar). For continuity from school to school, we ask that the home page always contain the school site photo, the Calendar, the News, and the Message From the Principal areas. The district webmaster can assist the school web managers in designing/adding additional web pages to meet your school needs.

The number one priority is student safety. You need to check with your school office manager to be sure that none of the students in the photo are on the "opt out" list.
