Boys Basketball **	6, 7 & 8 grades	Fall (Nov. - Dec.)

Girls Basketball **	6, 7 & 8 grades	Winter (Jan. - March)
Boys Wrestling	6, 7 & 8 grades	Winter (Jan. - March)

Track and Field	6, 7 & 8 grades	Spring (March - May)

* We will be offering 6th grade girls' volleyball and 6th grade boys' football programs in partnership with the Bend Parks
and Recreation District. Registration is at the Park District
Office, 799 SW Columbia Street, Bend. All practices and games will take place at PBMS.

** Boys' and Girls' basketball programs are operated in conjunction with Bend Parks and Rec. Registration and payment are made through Parks and Rec., but the school keeps the athletic physicals on record and teams are
organized through the schools.

Schedule an Athletic Physical for your student: 6th & 7th graders are required to have a doctor's exam each year they participate in a sport. 8th graders who have had a physical as a 7th grader are NOT required to get a
new exam.

Contact the Athletics Secretary for the School Sports Pre-Participation Examination form. The form is also available online on the Student website under Forms >

Please submit ALL athletic forms to
Pilot Butte Middle School at one time
along with payment.

Pay to participate fee for 2011-12 school is $40.00. Cash or check is accepted; make checks payable to "Pilot Butte Middle School." You can also pay to play on the district website with a credit card. (Please note the exception with regard to boys and girls basketball and 6th grade volleyball and 6th grade football which is paid through Bend Parks and Rec.) Scholarship forms are available in the Counseling Office.
Attend parent team meeting, if offered.
Registration for each sport season is as follows:

Fall - begins in late August

Winter - begins in late December

Spring - begins in Feb/March, prior to Spring Break

Most Pilot Butte sports meet for practice every day including Wednesdays. Please check the practice schedule for details. Encourage your student to make a real commitment to their sport and come to practice every day!
Refunds are available to students only during the first week of practice, or if the student becomes injured during the season and is unable to participate.
Our coaches make every effort to stay in contact with their players and families. If you don't get the information you think you need, please feel free to contact the Main Office at Pilot Butte where every attempt will be made to get the information you seek.
