Weekly Homework:

*Your child will have a three page Spelling assignment from their Practice Book each week. (Those in the 6th grade Spelling Book will have 4 pages to do in a different workbook.) It is due on Thursday of each week, unless it is a 3 day week for conferences and then they won't have Spelling that week.

*Your child needs to complete at least 1 chapter book a month and take anAccelerated Reader (AR) test over it on the computer. So if they say they have no homework, then have them read their book.

*Most Reading work will be done in class and there will be a test over the material covered every Friday. 

*There will be a few projects during the year for your child to work on at home.  Our first one will be over winter vacation. We will give you more information on this as the holidays near.
