Thank you for a great 2nd Tri-mester.  Vertical Concert was GREAT!  I am so proud of your children.

Presto and Vivace Festival date:  April 12, Friday-all day.

All are practice charts are due every Monday!! Practice requirement 60-90 min. per week!

Weekly Assignments:

6th grade: Essential Elements book pages 15-25 notes on D and A-string need to be sight-readible.  Concert Pieces:  Ear-igami, Performance Spotlight-Rockin' Strings and William Tell Overture, Star Wars

7th grade (Presto):  Rhythm a Day exercises 10-15  Concert Pieces:  Toccatina, Dance of the Tumblers, Dramatic Essey; advancing vibrato & tunning by ear.

8th grade (Vivace):  Rhythm a Day hand out.  Minor scales in Essential Elements book (page 32) & all shifting exercises.  Concert Pieces:  Strings Meet the Masters, B-Suite for Strings, Cannon in D.
