Bend-La Pine Schools has four categories of employees.

Administrative & Supervisor: Administrative positions are those which require an Oregon Administrative License. Supervisor positions are those which do not require an Oregon Administrative License. All individuals are asked to complete an application specific to the individual job posting requirements. Please complete application requirements and return it to the Human Resources Department by the end of the business day on the posted closing date.

Licensed: Licensed positions are those which require an Oregon Teaching License. All individuals must have a complete application submitted through EdZapp prior to being considered for any positions. Please complete a Licensed Application with EdZapp and apply for all positions of interest through EdZapp.
If hired, all successful certified employees must be prepared to supply all official transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate) and a certified copy of their teaching license. These items are a vital part of the hiring process and accurate salary placement is dependent on them.

Classified: Classified positions are those which are not administrative or supervisory and do not require a teaching license. All individuals must have a complete Classified Application submitted through EdZapp prior to being considered for any positions. Please complete an online application with EdZapp and apply for all positions of interest. If the position requires Office Skills Testing, you will need to have completed that and achieved an appropriate score PRIOR to the closing date of the position you are applying for to be considered.
There are five general categories of Classified Employees: Educational Assistant, Nutrition Services, Maintenance, Secretarial / Clerical and Transportation.

Extra Duty : Extra Duty Positions are not full time assignments. These positions are open first to members of the regular employee group. Applications are submitted through EdZapp prior to being considered for any positions. Please complete an online application with EdZapp and apply for all positions of interest.
Classified employees are eligible to apply for extra duty positions. However, if a classified employee is awarded an extra duty contract, the employee will need to make up work time missed for attending competitions, or as a result of working the extra duty contract.

All offers of employment are contingent upon the applicant's satisfactory completion of a drug screening test. Bend-La Pine Schools strives to provide a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for all employees.
