Volunteer Application Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with Bend-La Pine Schools.
To protect the safety and welfare of children, Bend-La Pine Schools conducts background checks on all job applicants and substitutes. Due to rising concerns in our community, we are also conducting background checks on all school volunteers and work place mentors who work directly with students.
You will NOT be able to volunteer while the results of the background check are being conducted. If there is a problem with the information reported from the Oregon Department of Education, you will be contacted by an employee from the Human Resources Department.
If you have any questions regarding the background check process, please call the Human Resources Office at 541-355-1100. You will be able to speak confidentially with a staff member who understands our process.
