The Dental Program provides an introduction, training and experience for high school students who plan to pursue a career in dentistry. Whether you are planning on working as a dental assistant, hygienist, general dentist or specialist the dental program offers an excellent venue for investigation. This night course includes lecture and labs at a variety of dental offices. Job shadows and community service in dental and/or healthcare settings are additional requirements. The program rolls out in October of each school year. Students earn 1.0 elective credit upon completion of the course.
